But i take it since writing this you've read on right? MAJOR disappointment. Oka just stops fighting and buggers off, the next thing we see of him (and it is definately a him, the 268 girl is definately Reika, but there are LOADS of "covergirls" that simply don't actually appear in the manga and are merely eyecandy) is his severed head. The Buddhist Temple Mission, and the Osaka Mission, are IMO by FAR the best parts of Gantz. The buddhist mission had time after time of "WTF HOW CAN YOU POSSIBLY DO THAT" moments where i was practically screaming at the screen and at the author not to kill off so and so (eg. Kei, Kato, and the "lara croft" girl Sei). Unfortunately, your first comment is in retrospect, falsified. IMO Oka DOES turn out to be a joke.
